Beautiful, custom etched all glass absinthe decanter is made from heavy blown glass. Classic squared-off profile with beveled corners. All glass flattened square stopper with leaf motif design. 26 oz 740 ml. Works great as an Absinthe decanter or for water. 9 in tall with stopper, 3-1/2 in. square

Using a carafe to slowly drip ice cold water into your absinthe was very popular during the Belle Epoque. The correct technique is to place your spoon atop the glass with a sugar cube and drip the iced water as slowly as possible until the sugar has completely dissolved from the absinthe spoon and fallen into your absinthe glass.

I ordered a set of 4 of these glasses, and, love them. I really like the bottom section that holds a "shot", as it takes some of the guess work out of making the perfect drink.
