The Premium 4 spout Rozier Absinthe fountain is mouth-blown, lead-free crystal. It is lightweight and delicate yet extremely durable and imported from Europe. Fountain is 17 in. tall with top, 8 in. table to spouts, holds 1200 ml.

Set is available with fountain and either 4 La Rochere Pontarlier glasses (Imported From France) and 4 Classic Wormwood Leaf spoons or with 2 La Rochere Pontarlier glasses (Imported From France) and 2 Classic Leaf spoons. Fountain can also be purchased individually. Use drop-down to chose your set. Also includes Sugar Cubes and illustrated instructions for preparing your absinthe. Using An Absinthe Fountain

During the Belle Epoque, Absinthe Fountains were brought to your table so you could prepare your absinthe to your taste. Absinthe fountains are by far the best way to properly louche an absinthe as you have precise control of the drip rate of the water.

Using A Fountain: Add approximately one ounce of absinthe to your glass. A quality absinthe will usually provide the best louche at a 1:3 to 1:5 ratio. Place your Absinthe Spoon on top of your glass and a sugar cube on the spoon. Position your glass so the water drips over the cube. Turn the spigot on the fountain to your desired drip rate. A steady drip to a slow stream is preferred.

As water is added to the absinthe, the alcohol concentration falls allowing the release of herbal oils and aromas held in concentration by the high alcohol content of absinthe. The herbal oils form the louche lending a milky white, opalescent appearance to the drink.

Remember: Always use ice cold, pure water for the best tasting drink.

I was on the fence about a fountain but it turns out that this is a pleasure to use. Couldn’t be easier: add ice, water, turn spigot. It is conveniently small and the blown glass is gorgeous. Recommended

Very beautiful and delicate! We love it. The topper arrived broken, unfortunately, but I spoke with someone who sent a replacement which arrived within 2 days. We have used it several times now and we (and our guests) have enjoyed it! definitely worth the cost.

The fountain is beautiful and the glasses, spoons, and sugar (all were the default options) made it easy to organize its first use with a group of friends.  The spigots worked perfectly with no leakage.  I highly recommend this set.
